Obsidianshard made her way to the small nest that she had woven from the grass. she knew that larkstorm didnt want her in the warriors den. Larkstorm thought that she was diseased. curling up in her scruffy nest the omega of the clan closed her golden eyes and not a tear did fall.

Sootflower decided not to attend the Gathering and stayed back with Snowstep. Everything was quiet, and undesisive until Obsidianshard returned. The poor black she-cat was always so depressed, she needed to lighten up. The dual colored cat walked over and meowed, "What's wrong. You need to stop living in the past and letting stupid things bring you down."

Larkstorm had stayed with Sootflower as well but ended up dozing in the moonlight. She had not woken when Obsidianshard had arrived and found herself wandering in a dream land of her own. The calico female was twitching slightly, and rolled over occasionally.

"Lilystar lost two lives tonight" was all the black cat said. she lifted her head and stared at her faint friend. "a branch fell on her as she announced that she and maplewing were half clan cats". her eyes suddenly sparked "that means her son is quarter clan her blood line is cursed". she whispered before she curled up more.

Flameclaw cuddled himself beside Obsidianshard. She was a lot nicer than Sootflower, and looked like she needed a friend. "Hey." He purred to her, hoping to start a conversation with the bombay she-cat with a friendly glance. For all he knew, she was just talking to the deputy like any sane cat.

Snowstep padded around, almost pacing. She was bored out of her mind, and the silver she-cat needed something to do before she went crazy. Her green gaze wandered until it reached Flameclaw and Obsidianshard. Was that a spark she saw? Would FireClan have a batch of kits coming some time soon?

Graypaw found himself pulling his way through the entrance of camp, his eyes dull with exhaustion. What a wild night, huh. The tom gathered his strength and padded over toward the apprentice den and slumped down in front of it. The young cat was soon asleep.

Obsidianshard watched Flameclaw an a shy little smile appeared on her face. she purred gently and snuggled into his fur. he was warm and smelt of pines. her eyes closed and she looked content.

Yukistar walked into the clearing. She jumped onto a rock and called. "Let all cats old enough to catch their own food gather at tallrock for a clan meeting."she meowed.

Sootflower looked up, probably Graypaw's warrior ceremony, she guessed. The dual colored she-cat moved away from Obsidianshard and Flameclaw and sat at the base of Tallrock like the deputies did in any meeting with the entire Clan. Sootflower looked up, she wondered what life Yukistar was on. Snowstep was bound to know, right? Maybe she'd ask the silver Medicine Cat sometime soon, she was curious to know.

The dark ginger warrior stood up from Obsidianshard and walked to the center of the clearing, sitting down and waiting for the meeting to start. He was not complteely focused that night so was not really sure what was happening. Nothing bad, he hoped.

The calico she-cat smiled, finally. Graypaw was becoming a warrior after so long. He should've been made a warrior about a season ago in her opinion. Now she didn't have to look after him every second. Larkstorm paced around the clearing until finally sitting down a few tail lengths from Flameclaw.

Obsidianshard stood and walked over. she sat between larkstorm and Flameclaw. she had a bad feeling about this. what was yukistar going to say. her eyes met her leaders.

Yukistar nodded in approval. She looked to Graypaw. "Graypaw, please step forward."she said. I, Yukistar, leader of FireClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Graypaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"she said with a firm tone.

Graypaw stepped forward from behind Larkstorm, his yellow eyes the only giveaway to his overflowing excitement. The overgrown apprentice waited until Yukistar spoke the words he'd been waiting to hear for so long. "I do."

The silver she-cat couldn't help it. She tried to purr, but only an airy wheezing sound escaped her throat. Snowstep still smiled and waited for Graypaw to become a warrior. This was always her favorite part of Clan-life, seeing young cats gain their wildest dreams.

Yukistar nodded her head in approval. She glanced at the currently being named apprentice."Then, by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Graypaw, from this moment you will be known as Grayfall. StarClan honors your courage and loyalty, and we welcome you as a full member of FireClan."she said. Yukistar lays her head on new warrior’s shoulder.

Sootflower smiled, and called out, "Grayfall! Grayfall!" The white and black she-cat remembered her warrior ceremony, Yukistar had just been made a leader a couple sunrises before hand. She had been the white she-cat's first warrior ceremony.

Flameclaw had always had a friendship with the gray tom, so he was happy to see him finally made a warrior. "Grayfall! Grayfall!" He echoed Sootflower. His green eyes bright with excitement, maybe FireClan was finally getting back up in shape to the other Clans.

The calico she-cat meowed loudly to her former apprentice. "Grayfall! Grayfall!" Her calls were proud and excited. "Grayfall! Grayfall!" The former mentor would miss keeping an eye on the gray ball of fur, but she'd enjoy being relieved of watching him. Larkstorm purred, he was finally a warrior.

Grayfall purred loudly, his eyes shining with excitement. He was a warrior now, after so long. The young tom nodded to Yukistar in respect and let the calling of his new name sink in. He was Grayfall now.

The silver she-cat tried to purr again, but failed. Sadly, she couldn't yell out the new warrior's name, for she was deemed to a silent life. Snowstep turned around, looking over her shoulder, thinking she'd heard something out of camp. Hm,that was odd.

The black and white she-cat padded up to Grayfall. "Congratulations, go get something to eat now." Sootflower purred, then looked over at Flameclaw, Obsidianshard and Larkstorm. "You three, go on a border patrol along the SkyClan border. Larkstorm, lead the way."

Flameclaw nodded to Sootflower and padded toward Larkstorm. The dark ginger warrior asked, "So, which direction will we be heading?" His green eyes looked tired, he had been through a lot lately. And was running around constantly.
