Aurorapaw raced out of the apprentice den, she was still mostly baby fur, her coat all puffy like a ball. she bounced over to snowstep and pounced on her paws, her silver bell like laugh ringing around the clearing. Snowstep had been her surrogate mother because her own had died. she glanced up at the big gray warrior named Grayfall and blinked her startling bright blu eeyes.

Grayfall looked down at Aurorapaw, he had just been made an apprentice when the she-cat had opened her eyes. His ashen fur prickled, new-leaf was coming, and that meant humid rains. The tom glanced back at Snowstep, asking if she really needed to be helped today, then went back to the apprentice. "Hey."

"heya!" came her squeaky mew in return "im an apprentice now, and you're a warrior! can't you take me out of camp naooowww?" she asked. as a kit she had always wanted to explore. she grinned up at him. a stark contrast to most cats she was nearly always happy.

Flameclaw saw Yukistar bound away and shrugged, guess they were leaving without Obsidianshard. He looked at Sootflower and got to his paws before starting his way toward the camp entrance. Wonder what her and Yukistar were fussing about. Seems like it rattled both of their cages...

Sootflower sighed and padded more slowly after her Clanmates. What a disaster that had been, she had never meant to offend Yukistar. But a leader without a respectful ear to critisism would never survive without stress and hatred. The black and white deputy slithered out of camp almost, a venomous snake.

Snowstep nodded toward Grayfall, she didn't really need help. Stocks were full and no one was ill. The silver she-cat padded to the edge of camp and layed down. She wondered when the next Gathering would be. It had been a while, and she wasn't even sure what Moon phase it was that night.
