Galiath Patch

A big batch of grass and herbs. Medicine cats come here to pick herbs, but they better watch out. This Patch is named for the giant 4inch long Galiath Taranchulas that make their home here.

Spottedface picked her way through the ferns, twitching her nose to catch the scent of yarrow. The Clan's stocks of the small plant were low and a good place to find them in any weather was at the Galiath Patch. The bengal she cat picked her way across the grass, careful to stay clear of the webby circles that marked a taranchula nest.

The senior warrior bounded into the patch, and like Spottedface, stayed clear of thick webbed spots in the grass. "Spottedface," he called to the she-cat across the field. "Come back to camp with me, Lilystar may need you soon." His one eye focused on the young cat and then bounded away.

Oakpaw appeared stalking one of the spiders. his tail stuck out behind him as he slowly followed them. he grinned cheekily and pounced on the spider killing it. he sat up and turned heading towards the graveclan border.

Spottedface nodded to Creekfeather as he left and started picking her way through the field. She saw Oakpaw and called to him, "C'mon. Let's go back to camp." THe bengal she-cat waited for the apprentice to join her. She was smarter than Creekfeather, in a way, and decided to flank the mottled tom back to camp.

The apprentice bounced up and sat down, her green eyes picked up all of the interesting sights and herears picked up thesounds even as hernose picked up the scents. she wriggled her tail a little with excitement.
