Dovestar nodded approval to Sparrowclaw's demands and seemed a lot more at ease after the news that her traitor was dead. The gray tabby then turned to Dustfeather and flicked her tail, to show that he could do as the deputy had said. The Clan Leader still sat calmly and waited for anything more.

Dustfeather nodded to Sparrowclaw but was still confused to if Dovestar wanted to speak to him or not. The copper mackerel tom looked back and forth between the two cats, hoping for a sign of recognition. Finally, he saw the flick of Dovestar's tail. He headed off to the nursery in flush to fetch Tigerpaw.

Tailfeather returned and shot a look of pure hatered at the deputy, with a hiss he recoiled and walked over to dovestar growling "i must have words with you" he then sat down and flicked his tail for the deputy to either leave or get a nose clawn off.

Dovestar turned to her indecisive Medicine Cat and nodded her head to dismiss Sparrowclaw, the gray tabby now fully interested. "What is it?" She could tell by the way Tailfeather looked at the deputy, that something was not right. "I need to know quickly, I'm not exactly patient."

Sparrowclaw sighed, and moved away from the pair of cats to the other side of the clearing. He was exhausted, and all he could think of doing was sleeping. The oriental tom pushed forward until he was at the edge of camp in a sunny spot. His thick fur was matted so he layed down and started to groom it out.

Dovestar finally sat down patiently, waiting intently for her Medicine Cat to speak. The gray tabby glanced around the camp, what was so important? Was it from the Half Moon meeting? Suddenly, the Clan Leader got very interested and leaned forward a bit. "Spit it out, then."

he paused then said "two legs are enroaching on Graveclan territory, they may try to carve out some of our territory or some of our ally Fireclans. on another note i would not trust sparrowclaw. hes worse than he seems" he gave a sour glare at sparrowclaw and fluffed up his grey fur. switching his tail he said "one of the kits he brought in is destined to become a medicine cat"

Sparrowclaw glanced every once in a while over at the pair. He went ashamed, how could he have let himself fly out of control, on the girl he loved? The deputy sighed, and began staring off toward the nursery, if it weren't for his behavior, the kits wouldn't have been born. The oriental glanced at the sky, thinking about Maplewing. The she-cat he conquered.

Tailfeather steaming mad at sparrowclaw stalked over and spat at him "come into the medicine den champ. might want to make sure you didnt pick up any diseases". a hard glint in his eyes told the male that he knew exactly what had happened. his teeth bared in a low snarl before he vanished into the medicine den.

Stormkit walked up to the mossball, which had landed right in front of Dovestar. He looked up at the she-cat with wide, emerald green eyes. His fur was fluffy, and he smiled as he saw her. "Who're you?" He asked as he retrieved his toy from inbetween her front legs.

Dovestar's eyes widened, Sparrowclaw couldn't be bad? She refused to believe his words, but then started to think of the two kits he brought back. One of them was supposed to be a Medicine Cat? Hm.. which one.. The gray tabby looked down when a small tap on her front paws drew her attention. She saw the kit and smiled, "Hello little one." She chuckled a bit. "I'm Dovestar, the Clan Leader. What's your name?"

Cougarstrike stood at the edge of the camp, scanning the clan with his bright green eyes. Slightly unnerved, the tom sat down and curled his tail around his paws. Being observant, he noticed a kit talking to Dovestar. Must be one of those that Sparrowclaw brought in, he thought. With the sunlight feeling hot on his golden fur, Cougarstrike decided to take his observances elsewhere. Perhaps the shade of the forest would cool him down. The golden tom stood and walked out of the camp.

Tigerpaw walked back into camp confidently, her eyes glittering with pride. placing the eagle on the fresh kill pile she trotted over to Dovestar and sat down. she purred with delight the odd feather here and there through her pelt. her stunted tail lay in the dirt behind her as she watched stormkit. she wondered what his name would be when he grew up.

The deputy saw Cougarstrike leave, and tilted his head. SKyClan always had to recieve the most extreme of any weather didn't it? Sparrowclaw sighed and followed his clanmate. He needed to have the cold mountain air through his fur before he burnt to a crisp. And he knew better than the go into that bird's rattled cage.

Sorrelkit padded up behind her brother and sat a while away. She was about a tail length in front of Dovestar and Tigerpaw, and smiled as her littermate went for his mossball. "Hello, Dovestar, Tigerpaw." Her voice was smooth, and she stood tall, trying to seem more mature. She definitely didn't want them to suspect she was like her sibling.

"I'm Stormkit." He replied, looking up when Tigerpaw appeared. He smiled at her, grateful for the mossball. The gray tom turned around and saw his sister and added in, "And this is my sister, Sorrelkit." He walked over to her and sat down, pushing his toy between his front paws with interest.

Dovestar smiled at Stormkit, he was truly an active one wasn't he. She glanced at Tigerpaw as she sat beside her, and threw the apprentice a friendly flick of her ear. The Clan Leader's attention to the kit returned when he said that his sister had come forth. Her words were so properly layed out. Maybe this she-cat was the one Tailfeather said was destined to be a Medicine Cat.

Dustfeather appeared through the entrance after Tigerpaw and sat beside her. He watched the kits for a bit as they introduced themselves, then turned to the Clan Leader. "Be proud of this one, she caught an eagle her first try." He meowed, his words hinting that he almost died as well. He nudged the she-cat's shoulder humorously after he spoke.

She grinned at stormkit glad that he liked the mossball. she turned her head in mock outrage at dustfeathers words and laughed. "oh dont exagerate i had a great mentor". she flicked her tail, she wanted to flick his shoulder with it but it was too short. her eyes watched the two kits with admiration and wonder. she smiled a little and said to stormkit, "i used to practise my pouncing on moss balls, pretending it was Graveclan intruders or some such thing". she purred a little, she had grown rapidly and was large for a female.

Sorrelkit placed her attention solely on Dovestar. "Sorry about my brother if he seems quite rambunctious. He wants to become a warrior, how barbaric.." She murmured. Her vocabulary made the tri-colored kit seem like an elder in a kit's body. "I wish to become a Medicine Cat." She glanced at Stormkit and grimaced.

Stormkit gaped at his sister's comment. Warriors? Barbaric?! Who was she to talk? "Being a warrior is an honorable thing, Sorrelkit. We are the ones who protect, feed and make the Clan bigger. Mind you." He snapped at her, his long gray fur bristled defensively toward his fantasy.

"It's alright, my dear, Stormkit." The gray tabby meowed, chuckling. "She has her points, and you have yours." Dovestar ended the discussion quickly and nodded toward Tigerpaw and Dustfeather. "Go play with them around the Clearing, they'll have chances to mentor you in a couple moons."

She turned to Sorrelkit and smiled, "Are you really intending on becoming a Medicine Cat?" Her pelt prickled. "Tailfeather is looking for an apprentice, you know?"

Dustfeather looked toward Stormkit and wandered to the other side of the Clearing. Why not Tigerpaw give a try in teaching the kit a few things? This could be some sort of test for the she-cat. The copper tabby sighed and called, "Tigerpaw, why not teach Stormkit a few battle moves, and show some off to us?"

Her ears perked and she nodded, she flicked her stumpy tail and said to stormkit "ok stormkit, when in battle you have to be light on your feet. skyclan cats are great at being up in the trees so use those to your advantage. however for now lets try an easier move. try to hit my muzzle with your paws"
