Dustfeather pushed through the camp entrance and dipped his head to Dovestar and his new apprentice as he padded over. He bent down and touched noses with the she-cat and smiled. "Hello, you might wanna get some sleep. Training starts tomorrow."

Tigerpaw giggled and bounced up and down her eyes sparkling with excitement "but tomorrow is aaaaaaaaaaaaageeesss away? cant we co on one border patrol? please please please please?" the half tailed apprentice was lucky that she hadnt been named halfkit. however she wasnt aware of this and was busy being a happy young apprentice.

"Don't forget whose mentor," He meowed. "go get some sleep. Now." Dustfeather watched Tigerpaw, hoping her half tail wouldn't taper her balance. SkyClan cats were known for climbing trees and their acrobatic skills, but what were they without their tails?

Dovestar sighed and leapt down from the rock. The Gathering wasn't for a while, and she didn't have much to do but watch her Clan operate. SkyClan was yet the smallest Clan, they needed kits. But there was no mate pair in the Clan at all. Would she really go to the measure of stealing kits? No, no. She wouldn't... probably...

Tigerpaw grinned up at her mentor, she had strong back legs and she didnt seem to have balance problems. she was excellent at climbing the trees that surrounded the camp. she bounced up and lightly booped her mentors nose with a teasing glint in her bright merry eyes. she glanced up and hared over to Dovestar saying in her usual gabbling way "thankyousomuchforgivingmedustfeatherasamentordovestarillbringhimintoline!". she said with out taking a breath before she began bouncing over toward the apprentice den.

Dovestar sighed and called quickly, looking around the Clearing. "Sparowclaw, Dustfeather and Tigerpaw, come with me to the Gathering. I think Tailfeather and Maplewing are already on their way."

The large tom flanked Dovestar, and led the way out of camp. His thoughts were headed toward what OceanClan might say. He had heard rumors that all the Clans were spreading further and further away from each other because of an impending twoleg attack. Could the Clans really be saved?

Dustfeather called for his apprentice, "Tigerpaw! Let's go, hurry up." The copper mackerel tabby tom waited impatiently for the young she-cat to catch up with the Clan. He was going to have to keep her quiet or introduce her to apprentices at the Gathering.

Tigerpaw squealed with bouncy excitement. she raced after her mentor her strong legs carrying her with an easy grace. her half tail stuck up in the air as she bounded along.

He paced inside the clearing. Everything was falling apart, SkyClan lost a member, Lilystar dying at a Gathering. Was StarClan purposefully punishing the two sisters from Ocean and Sky? And possibly their Clans? What would happen if StarClan finally decided to release their rage on the two?

Dovestar walked up to Sparrowclaw and meowed urgently, "If you see Maplewing on our territory, chase her out like any other rogue. Don't even stop to ask her questions." She paused, "Kill her if you must. She is halfclan filth." The gray tabby spat.

Dustfeather wasn't too sure if Dovestar was being irrational, this was a little much though. Maplewing used to be her deputy? What was wrong with their leader and halfclan cats? Was she really going to order Sparrowclaw to kill the cat he loved?

Sparrowclaw flattened his ears at Dovestar's words. He wasn't sure he could do what she wanted him to, Maplewing had tols him that she was expecting a litter of his kits the night of the Gathering, how could he kill the mother of his kits? The oriental only nodded, trying not to outburst in defiance to her orders. "Yes, Dovestar."

"Good, don't fail me." She meowed, then padded away toward the center of the clearing. The gray tabby was growling under her breath, how could she not have noticed? They looked the same, walked the same, talked the same, and both were on the way to power. Lilystar's a leader, and Maplewing and been her deputy. How dare she try and lead SkyClan.

Dustfeather shook his head, this was going too far. The copper mackerel tabby tensed at the thought of Sparrowclaw ordering him to take the tawny she-cat's life. He was ignorant to the fact that the former deputy was pregnant though, that would be even worse for the new mentor to bear.

Sparrowclaw nodded, and bounded away. He needed to find Maplewing and warn her not to come here. He also wanted to check on the female, maybe if she has the kits, he can take them to SkyC;an when they're ready. They'd be safer in a Clan, Maplewing would know that.

Dovestar tilted her head as Sparrowclaw left, what was he up to? The gray leader sighed, pushing the thoughts away. Her Clan was tiny, they needed kits. She would never steal kits, but no one here seemed to be wanting any. They didn't have any adult females except herself.

Dustfeather looked after Sparrowclaw and sighed. The copper tom padded forward and sat beside Dovestar. She looked distressed. "Want to talk about something?" He meowed. His gaze was low, he didn't really have any attention to joke.

Tailfeather appeared and snapped "where is Maplewing i have to talk to her". his pale green eyes glittered with luminosity. he lashed his thick feathery tail left and right. watching his leader and Dustfeather. he caught dustfeathers eye and snapped "you get to work training Tigerpaw! Skyclan needs more females"

Dovestar narrowed her eyes at Tailfeather. Something was up with the old cat. The gray tabby she-cat held her tail up, telling Dustfeather that was not dismissed. "I exiled her, because she is half-clan filth." Her blue eyes focused on the long haired Medicine Cat, waiting for a curious response.

Dustfeather nodded his head to Tailfeather and started off before stopped at Dovestar's movement. What was going on? Both the Clan Leader and Medicine Cat looked riled, something was happening, and the copper mackerel tom did not like the looks of it. "D-do you want me to go, or not?"

"Maplewing is dead." The deputy entered the clearing, lying through his teeth with great talent. "I found her on the border at Fourtrees, it smelled as if FireClan killed her." Sparrowclaw looked at her Tailfeather, then back at Dovestar. "On my way back from patrol, I found two kits on the edge of the territory. They have no Clan scent, they were loners and alone. I brought them here as following the warrior code." He finished. "They're in the nursery."

"oh keep your prejeduices then Dovestar! im going to the moonpool!" he muttered to himself as he turned almost batting dovestar in the face with his fluffy tail and stalked out of camp. his eyes blazed with anger.

Dovestar looked at the cats around her. Tailfeather was distressed, Dustfeather was confused, and Sparrowclaw claimed Maplewing dead and found two loner kits. The gray tabby sighed as her Medicine Cat walked away and turned to Sparrowclaw. "We need more kits, they are now SkyClan. Can you act as a father figure for them?"

Perfect, he thought happily. "Er, yes of course." The deputy meowed, trying to sound odd about it. The oriental tom then slipped away and nodded in agreement to Taifleather's past words, "Dustfeather, take Tigerpaw out on a hunting patrol up at Gray Mountain. Teach her about the Aerial Grounds."
