Heathercloud snorted her discontempt of Eaglestar's decision. The light ginger she-cat glared at Oakfrost from the nursery. If he touched one hair on her pelt, she would rip the mange to shred no questions asked. She was an experienced fighter, and wouldn't be beaten by a young warrior. And second off, if he did harm her, her mate would also most likely rip out his fur. She hissed at the new warrior and called her kits into the nursery.

Sablekit trotted in and fluffed up her fur noticing another kit in the nursery "whos he momma! he smells like salt and fish!" she pullled a graphic face and glared at theother kit. her feirce nature making her dance over to the other kit and yowl "put up your dukes sir!"

Birchkit saw his father leave and glanced warily at Heathercloud. She she-cat was fierce, and she had already earned his fear and respect. The brown toyger glanced at the mixed colored she-kit beside him and glared at her. His ears flicked back and he growled menacingly as he was curled tense in the corner of his nest. Birchkit did not speak to her, but his aquarmine eyes were dark with misunderstanding. Who were these cats? Where was Echokit? Where was Featherpool? And for once, he missed Rainkit.

Thistlekit stood beside his sister, but did not speak or act playful toward the newcomer. He only returned the same confused look toward Birchkit and flattened his ears. His long, furry tail swished out behind him in long threatening strokes. His fully developed olive eyes glanced at his littermate and he said cooly. "He smells like OceanClan. Let's leave him be, so he can dry out like a fish in his sun-bathed nest."

Sablekit flicked her ears interested by this other cat, she walked over to him and asked "whats it like in oceanclan?" she purred interestedly. for once she as acting nice cause mother waasnt attacking him so he should be fine right?

Heathercloud didn't merely look at the kit. Only glanced at her own children and scoffed, "Get over here, you have no business with that mockling lord of OceanClan." The light ginger she-cat put poison into her fowl words. She now glared her furious green eyes at the toyger Birchkit and waited for her kits to join her in their nest.

Birchkit flattened his ears at the she-cat's name for him. Mockling. It was horrible. He hissed at her, his teeth bared. Then he curled away from all of them, his eyes full of hate. His fear was turning into anger. And anger would soon, after much pressure, turn into hate.

Thistlekit ignored Sablekit and Birchkit. He nodded to his mother and walked over to the nest and hopped in obediantly. His fur was smoothed against the moss and he looked up to Heathercloud. No wonder Snakeheart took her for a mate, she was definately a beauty. "Mother, will I find a she-cat as beautiful as you for a mate?"

Heathercloud chuckled softly at her son's words, now completely ignoring Birchkit, "Eventually, young one, you will." She licked his head. "But for now, you will become a mighty strong warrior like your parents." The mother bent her head down and groomed the kit, getting the tangles out of his long dual colored fur before settling down comfortably.

She blinked her bluey green eyes and shook out her white and chocolate fur, she prodded the other kit curiously and said "Im Sablekit, what is your name" she asked demandingly. she was bored adn was in a rebellious mood. she wanted to meet this new kit and make friends. thistlekit was boring and Sedgekit was soft. she was made of fire and she wanted some action!

Birchkit rumbled a warning to Sablekit, clearing expressing his bad mood. But he did answer her, "My name is Birchkit." The tom glanced at Heathercloud and thought to himself, 'Not Mockling.' The toyger rolled his blue eyes and started licking his pelt, this was nicer than he'd expected actually.

Thistlekit purred and rubbed his head against his mother's side. He loved the light ginger warrior, and would definitely protect all of his family with his life. The dual colored kit looked around, and saw Sablekit and Birchkit talking. He didn't feel like joining in, but did call over. "I'm Thistlekit."

She wriggled her ears as she thought then said "why did your pappy bring you here? my pappy would never leave his clan! cause momma would claw his ears off if he did" she announced rather proudly. she flicked her ears remembering what Heathercloud had said about oceanclan once "isnt your mother a kittypet?" she asked curiously

Heathercloud flattened her ears at her daughter's words. "Sablekit, yet it is true, it isn't a polite thing to ask. Take note, your father was a kitty-pet once." The light ginger she-cat, still to this day, didn't know why she had even ever opened her heart to the savannah cat.

She looked up and nodded "ok momma" to birchkit she said "we have simliar backrounds parent wise. im sorry if i offended you". she flicked her ear and assked "moma, why is calling someone a kitty pet offensive?" she was truly curious.

Birchkit answered for Heathercloud. "Because it is against the Warrior Code to be a kittypet. It's considered to be a coward's life." His meow was cold, but something in him felt different. He looked around and felt at home within the Nursery, and soon, Featherpool and Echokit and Rainkit were being forgotten.

"He's right, Sablekit." Thistlekit said, then turned to mother. "Tell us about the Tribes and the Free cities. Across the Narrow Sea? We are the closest aren't we?" The dual colored cat wanted to someday meet Daenerys, the legendary Mother of Dragons. He wanted to see a live dragon.

"Yes we are the closest, Thistlekit." The light ginger she-cat meowed. "There are two Tribes. One lives, and one is abandoned. The living, is the Tribe of the Screeching Dragon. Their camp is a large castle called a Khalasar." She paused. "The abandoned is the Tribe of the Running Streams, they also lived in a Khalasar." She shuffled in her nest. "Their leaders are a mate pair called the Khal and Khaleesi. And further south, on the other side of the Narrow Sea, right on the coast, are the Free Cities. There are no leaders, but only Free cats with their own desires and wishes." She chuckled. "Sometimes, Clan cats are allowed by their leaders to visit the other side of the Lands."
