Snowstep dipped her head and bounded away towards to camp to start preparing the bundles. She would most likely ask Graypaw to help her sort the plants.

The dark ginger warrior nodded and pelted away through the ferns. His ears flat as he headed away beside his clanmates. Hopefully the battle would go smoothly.

Larkstorm arrived at the border soon before Flameclaw did. She stopped to take a breath as she had been sprinting the whole way there. The calico looked around and took a whif of air. Everything seemed normal, so she walked along. Spraying the border a few times, she smiled and waited for the others.

Obsidianshard slunk up and cast an untrusting glare at larkstorm. she raked her claws down some trees leaving a visible border as well. after a few moments she asked "do yout hink that Dovestar will want to lead a nother battle against oceanclan?"

Flameclaw arrived right after Obsidianshard asked her question. The dark ginger tom replied for his clanmate. "I doubt it, SkyClan took quite a beating in that battle, so did we." He thought about it for a second. "I really wouldn't want to get tangled in GraveClan's fur again."

"I agree fully with Flameclaw, the last thing any of the Clans need is a battle." The calico she-cat picked her way down the side of the border, glancing slightly on the otherside to keep watch. "I heard towlegs were stetching into GraveClan land, and I don't think it'll be good for any of us."

Obsidianshard said "that would make them more desperate for territory, but battles are only a last resort". she said her golden eyes glanced at Flameclaw and softened. a shy smile etched itself onto her maw.

"If I know Snakeheart, he'd try and convince Eaglestar to go into battle." The dark ginger tom hissed in a mournful way. "He is a bloodthirsty savannah mix-breed." Flameclaw sighed, and returned a protective glance toward the black bombay. "How about we go check the GraveClan border, let's go."

Larkstorm agreed, and followed her clanmate down the scentline toward Fourtrees, where they'd turn and go down the GraveClan border. The calico she-cat knew that Snowstep and left for the Half Moon meeting, and all the other cats were most likely in camp for her information. The she-cat soon waited for Obsidianshard for several moments before leaving.

Giving a sweet smile at Larkstorm the often mournfull and slightly depressing cat seemed happy. a natural glow about her as she bounded for the border. her black sleek pelt blended in with the shadows with ease.

Larkstorm apeared through the brush. She was finally seeming more awake as the cool air running of Gray Mountain drifted around the border. The large SkyClan landmark was only several foxlengths away. A few trees was between its first incline and the border. The calico she-cat looekd upward, not even able to see its summit from where she was. But what she could see was the Spring Falls and the flutter of birds in its heights. "Whoo, I could never be a SkyClan cat."

"neither could i," Winterpelt said as she came into view of the border. but she had to admit that it was certainly a beautiful view. she could see the mountains and she felt the wind as it was blowing enough to make her a little cold. " i just want to check the border an go." " it may be a pretty view but im starting to get a little cold." Winterpelt chattered her teeth for dramatic effect.

Cougarstrike walked up to the border and breathed in the scents of the forest. A patrol was nearby, not that it bothered him. Looking around, he spotted a large tree. The golden colored tom strode up to the trunk and pushed himself upward. Within a few seconds, he had reached a low branch. His eyes glinting, he spotted the patrol on the FireClan side of the border. As long as they don't come on our side, they're fine, he thought calmly. Snorting with disdain, he watched the small group of cats as they chatted. They seemed not to notice him sitting in a tree almost right above him.

Sparrowclaw took the same route Cougarstrike had, and hunched beside the warrior, nodding a brotherly-like greeting toward the tom. He glanced at the she-cats then back at his friend, a wicked expression on his face. Before Cougarstrike could reply, he called out. "Well, hello ladies." A thick flirtatious purr on his words.

Cougarstrike blinked in confusion as Sparrowclaw called down to the FireClan cats. If he was trying to stir up trouble, it seemed as if he was going about it the right way. The golden tom, refusing to take part in a conversation with FireClan she-cats, scooted a few inches backward into the leaves. Hardly visible to the cats on the ground, he narrowed his eyes in silent laughter and looked over at the gray tabby tom. Sparrowclaw may have been acting foolish, but he was eager to see how this played out.

Larkstorm almost jumped out of her fur as Sparrowclaw jumped out almost an inch in front of her face. She screeched in shock, then hissed with annoyance and rolled her eyes. The gray fur along her muzzle revealed her age compared to the youth of Winterpelt. "Trust me, I'll do anything but that. Plus, I didn't know Sparrows fell out of trees. You got a twig on your ear, sweetheart." She added. A cocky grin on the old she-cat's face showed that her humor hadn't died.

Sparrowclaw smiled chessily, and shook the leaf from his fur. He had always had a small friendship with the FireClan cats. They treated others diligently. "Ah, well..." He muttered, thinking of a come-back. The oriental sighed and moved on, "So how's life in your desert of a territory?" He glanced at Winterpelt, he remembered her from Gatherings.

Winterpelt just sat there while Larkstorm talked with the tom. when he looked her way she gave a simple "Hello, im Winterpelt i dont think we have formally met." "and are territory is just fine thanks." Winterpelt was starting to get annoyed because it was cold and this cat seemed like he was trying to start something. She didnt like fighting or being mean but if they wanted to go there she would do it. Winterpelt narrowed her yellow eyes at him.

Larkstorm realized Winterpelt's incontempt. "It's okay. He is fine, just a bit ignorant at times." She purred out a laugh. She didn't mind other Clans, she talked with other cats freely, and Sparrowclaw just seemed to be having some fun, why not?

Winterpelt looked at Larkstorm and then back at the tom. She trusted her clanmate so the tension she had in her shoulders loosened. she lifted a paw and started to groom it. Well she thought she should stop being so suspicious of other clans. she threw the tom a friendly smile.

Sparrowclaw dipped his head, his view friendly. The oriental deputy looked over Larkstorm, "Aren't you heading off to the Elder's Den soon?" His question was genuine, for he knew that this she-cat had seen the time before the Great Epidemic that took the life of all the Clans. She lived through it.
