Eaglestar nodded to Snakeheart, and bounded off the Gravestone and headed toward his den. The brown tabby looked over his shoulder to the savannah cat, "The day is young, you have cats to send on patrols and work." Then slipped into the Leader's Den.

Snakeheart nodded and said to the mainecoon tom "hey Goosetail do you want to come with me on a hunting patrol? we can check the borders as well"he waited for his friends response. setting his paws neatly infront of him.

"Snakeheart! You're deputy!" The light ginger she-cat purred. Heathercloud nuzzled his cheek before turning toward the nursery and peeking inside. She turned as he called to Goosetail and raised her eyebrows. "And what can I do? I'm not useless just because I have kits."

He thought for a few moments then purred "well, why dont you take the kits out of the den and teach them some easy battlemoves? we dont want them to be stolen if Fireclan decides it needs kits" he hoped that that would appeal to his mates pride and honor. he gently licked her ear and whispered "keep an eye on that Sablekit she has your fiery spirit!" he chuckled and turned padding out of camp heading for the oceanclan border

Thistlekit padded out into the light, his eyes widened at the sight. The camp was huge! This was the first time he'd been out here, and it looked amazing! The evening sunshine made his pelt shine as he strode up to his mother and say Snakeheart leave while gesturing to a brown tom on the other side of the clearing. "Who's that?"

"Yes, I'm coming." The Maine Coon tom meowed back to the new deputy before standing up and stretching forward. The brown warrior yawned and padded off after Snakeheart. "OceanClan border, right?" Then Goosetail was out the camp entrance and heading away.

Peachwhisker rose from her spot and purred, heading for the camp entrance as well. She was off to the Half Moon meeting at the Moonpool. She was leaving late though, so she might show up a little late as well, maybe even the last one there.

Sedgekit curled around her mother's back paws and realized how tall she was compared to her siblings. She was so much bigger than them, but Sablekit matched all of them in muscle strength. Thistlekit was a bit smaller than Sablekit, and Leopardkit was even smaller. "What are we doing out here?"

"exploring" said the biggest kit grandly, she turned her green eyes on the clearing and stared around. she noticed Eaglestar and tilted her head, who was he? she bounced over to him and reached up to bat at his whiskers.

The dark tabby chuckled as he saw the she-cat scamper up to him. The Clan Leader wasn't really one for kits, but he would definitely not ignore them or snap at them. Eaglestar gasped as she swung for him, and dramatically fell over and wheezed theatrically, "You've killed me..."

Heathercloud gesutred toward the leaving brown tom and said to her kits, "That is Goosetail, a Clan Warrior." Then she moved on to the Medicine Cat who also went on her way. "That is Peachwhisker, the Clan's Medicine Cat."

The tumbleweed colored mother noticed Sablekit and Eaglestar. She bounded forward and herded the female kit with he tail and scolded, "Sablekit, that's Eaglestar, the Clan Leader. Show some respect." Her words were not angry, only informing.

Thistlekit padded around, looking at all the sights in the camp. This place was cool, he liked it a lot. The kit saw his mother and sister near a large tabby. The tom wasn't as big as his father, but he was definitely bigger than Heathercloud. Thistlekit heard his mother state that the mysterious cat was his Clan Leader. The tom gasped and ran over quickly.

Hearing that this awesome in her opinion cat was the clan leader she said "come on then! you lost one life you have six more to loose?" she purred enjoying the game. she was feirce and prickly yet she was also adorable. one day to be beautiful in a cold bristly sort of way.

Sedgekit admired her older sister as she batted at the Clan Leader so eagerly. How could she do that without cowering in wonder. He had been born, training, fighting in GraveClan until he was Leader! The savannah she-cat wondered what responsibilities must rest on his shoulders.

Eaglestar got back on his feet and looked down at Sablekit, he purred then said. "A wise leader does not look for trouble, young one." The tom looked up to Heathercloud and dipped his head. "The camp is yours, I'm going on a border patrol." He padded off.

Heathercloud dipped her head to Eaglestar as she left and looked back to her kits. "Come on, guys." She finally meowed louder, so they all heard her. "I want you all to attack me from all sides, as a team." She added finally, emphasizing the last word clearly.

Thistlekit obliged almost immediately, and with a playful growl, he leapt for his mother from behind. The dual colored kit made sure to keep his claws sheathed, and he soared through the air. His tail lashed so he'd fly in the right direction. His forming olive-green eyes glowed with a happy light.

Sedgekit also leapt up at their mother after some thought. The savannah she-cat pushing all her weight toward hre front paws so she could deliver a full powered blow on the queen's side. "Die, OceanClan weirdo!" She yelled with full heart spirit. You could obviously tell their mother had been telling stories.

Sablekit stared at the nursery with green eyes, her fur all fluffed out "someones in our nursery! they smell like fish!" she had only ever tasted fish once. she lashed her fluffy tail and began doing little meerkat like wardance hops toward the nursery.

Heathercloud pushed herself to the ground under the small weight of her flying kits. The light ginger she-cat purred at them and licked their cheeks. At Sabelkit's words, though, the mother was up and stalking over to the nursery. She grabbed Sablekit by the scruff and placed the kit behind her and whispered firmly, "Stay here."

Thistlekit looked up, wondering what was happening until he heard Sablekit's meow. The tom scooted forward to stand next to where their mother had moved his sister. "Let's stay here, if it's an adult, we could get hurt if we got in their." The dual colred cat waited.

Sedgekit agreed with her brother's words, but was frozen to her spot behind them. The tall she-cat stepped forward, and looked over her shorter siblings' heads then stepped warily forward, then scurried back when she heard her mother challenge a cat accusingly. The savannah she-cat flattened her ears. That cat was gonna get it.

Eaglestar bounded onto the Gravestone and looked out, most of the cats in camp were already here, so he did not summon them. The brown tom spoke, "I, Eaglestar, leader of GraveClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Oakpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your life?"

Oakpaw (whos name could be Oakfrost or Oakthorn) Nodded and said in a strong clear voice "i do Eaglestar, my allegiance is to this clan now. i have no mother and my father was slaughtered. Graveclan has all of my energy and strength. as well as my sons" his Amber eyes turned toward teh nursery with a rush of affection for his son. he turned his head back up to eaglestar and waited.

Snakeheart waltzed into camp and felt himself go stiff at the sight of an oceanclan apprentice. quickly assessing the situation he calmed down and walked over to his kits. ignoring the oceanclanner he began vigoursly cleaning sedgekit.
