FC Leader's den

The leader’s den in located at the back of the crevice where the two cliff faces close together in an ascending pile of rocks providing an access point to the clan leader’s den as well as a high place for the leader to address his or her clan. Lichen hangs in front of the entrance like a curtain.

Yukistar pushed away the lichen at the entrance of the den. She looked to the medicine cat den, wondering how the mute medicine cat, Snowstep was doing. She padded over to the medicine cat den and stepped inside.

Sootflower pushed inside the Leader's den. Her eyes were know puzzled. Yukistar's scent was stale. Where could she have gone? And matter of fact, she hadn't seen the white she-cat for some time now? Hmm, something was wrong. Did the leader abandon FireClan?

Yukistar flicked her tail as a gesture to come in. "Do you need something, Sootflower?"she asked. Her tone was deep, like Bluestar's. Her royal blue eyes calmly gazed at her deputy.

Sootflower looked at the leader, unsure of how to approach without having Yukistar question her loyalty. She dipped her head and began, "Yukistar, I've realized how little you come into Clan life. You leasure yourself, but you do no work to defend or feed the Clan very often." She paused, "It's hard for me to say this, you know how loyal I am to FireClan, but I think maybe you should retire if you can't keep up with leading the Clan."

It's hard for me to say this, you know how loyal I am to FireClan, but I think maybe you should retire if you can't keep up with leading the Clan."she heard her deputy say this and came to a glare. "Oh, you question my leadership, yes?"she said with a growl in her throat. "Are you sure you want to do that?"she started hissing. "I will not stand for anyone who questions my leadership -her fur lay flat once more- and what else do you have to say?"she said.

Flameclaw walked into the den, his fur still ruffled. He glanced at Sootflower nd realized neither her or the leader were speaking so he spoke quickly. "GraveClan was caught stealing prey on the border. Snakeheart had killed a bird on our side, and nearly started a fight if it weren't for Goosetail." He lifted up the bird in his jaws. "The savannah cat gave it back though."

"If he gave it back then it's no big deal, for now. I still will have a word with Eaglestar with this though."she said to the tom. The female padded outside. 'Come, we must arrange more patrols."she said. The she cat grew more angry with the thought of what Sootflower just said. She dare question her authority, there might be a change of deputyship.
