Echokit glanced at her friend and licked her ear. She would be devastated to lose Featherpool, and she was already sad that Rainkit didn't seem to like them. The silver she-cat padded over to the nursery entrance, looked up, then bounded back. "Your father is Clan deputy, Minnowkit." She meowed.

Minnowkit's ears perked up at Echokit's words. Her father was deputy? But Creekstar hated her father. The silver and black she-cat rose and scuttled herself to the entrance to hear. She was right. The young female tilted her head and sighed, that's odd. Well, actually, only he could become a deputy anyway. Featherpool had kits to take care of.

Echokit nodded, she looked around and saw the Clan settling out. The silver she-cat purred, finally. She looked around, wondering what was going to happen from now on under Creekstar's reign. "Wanna go outside or stay in the nursery?" The kit asked, her body taking on the beauty of her mother.

Minnowkit thought for a few moments. She didn't really want to go outside. The nursery was warm, and in a few weeks they'd have to leave it for good until they were Queens like Featherpool. She said, "Nah. Let's stay here." The sivler and black kit wandered around, and found a mossball. She tossed it to Echokit. "Why don't we toss this around?"

Echokit nodded, "Okay." The mostly white and silver she-cat was soon to be a teen. Her fur was sleek, the edges still fluffy with kit-tufts. She caught the mossball, and sent it back over to Minnowkit. "Who do you want as a mentor?" She asked, thinking about all the possibilities. "I want Ashpaw when he becomes a warrior."

Minnowkit caught the ball, and kicked it back softer, thinking. "Hmmm." She mumbled quietly, now deep in thought. "I think I want Squirrelpaw." The silver and black she-cat looked up, admiring Echokit's beauty. The kit sighed and looked at her paws, waiting to be sent the mossball back.
