Skyclan camp, Nursery

A den built with bracken and woven sticks, stuffed with moss and leaves.

Tigerkit grumpily stomped into the den and sat down thinking, as she stared up into the massive trees she remembered the other cats talking about invasions and such. an idea sprang to her mind and she sat up licking a paw. what if they began weaving the trees branches together in the thicker part of the forest to make a camp up in the air so the other clans couldnt attack. her eyes shone with this revelation.

The she-cat purred and bounded toward the creature, diggin gin neatly. The gray and white female looked up at her father and meowed, "Where are we?" Sorrelkit then turned to her brother, what was this place? It was so much different from where she was born. "And where is Maplewing?"

Stormkit padded up more calmly beside his ravenous littermate and ate slowly, cherishing his first bite of fresh-kill. "This is good, what is it?" The dark gray oriental tom stretched and sat down, watching Sorrelkit eat with slight amusement. "Stop eating like that, you're making a mess."

Sorrelkit flattened her ears at the tom's words. She didn't speak or mourn though, she hadn't really grown that attached to her mother in the several days she lived with them in Twolegplace. "Stormkit, mother told us about Clan life. What do you think you want to be?"

Stormkit pondered for several heartbeats. What did he want to be? The life of a Medicine Cat didn't appeal to him, but he liked the idea of being honorable and fighting for his Clan. "I'd want to be a warrior, Sorrelkit. What about you?" He asked in reply.

Tigerpaw padded in and sat, she had a mossball in her jaws and she grinned "i heard that there were new kits, here i used to play with this" she placed it down and nosed it over to them "im Tigerpaw" she frowned hating her name slightly then lay down watching the kits.

Sorrelkit smiled at the apprentice. "Hi, my name is Sorrelkit." The tri-colored she-cat saw the moss ball and tilted her head a bit. Maplewing had never really given them anything to play with. She had always been taught how to defend herself if needed and how to feed herself if needed.

Stormkit was the explorer. He stepped forward from the remains of his meal and sniffed the ball of foliage with a judging expression on his face. This was a weird thing. But it was almost like he could move it. Before he knew it, Stormkit was padding the mossball between his paws.

Tigerpaw giggled and said "ill see if i can find some feathers, they are good to practise pouncing practise on" she grinned at the two kits. she would be a brilliant mother someday. for now however she grinned at the kits and turned bounding off after her mentor

Sorrelkit rolled her eyes and walked calmly toward the edge of the nursery, studying and smelling the plants around the lining wall. The tri colored she-cat nipped at a few, some tasted sweet, others were bitter though. The SkyClan kit wandered until she had scaled the full perimeter of the den.

Stormkit had gotten fully engrossed in his activity. He was on his backside, throwing the mossball in the air in constant repetitive throws. The gray cat meowed happily at it, not really getting bored. Every now and again, he'd look over to see Sorrelkit's progress in her examination of the nursery. She dumbfounded him, why'd she have to be so observant?

Sorrelkit threw a glance back at her brother. The tri colored she-cat rolled her eyes and pushed herself into the nest beside the side of the den. The kit layed down and stretched out, getting in a relaxed position. She looked at her brother, her emerald green eyes piercing his pelt like fire. "I want to be a Medicine Cat."

"Medicine Cats don't do anything for the Clan. All they do is sit around all day, true warriors die with honor instead of being saved by a measly Medicine Cat." Stormkit argued. The fluffy gray tom turned his head over his shoulder to get a better view of his sister. "Why do you want to do that?" He paused, then added. "Instead of being an honorable and justified warrior?"

"I like the idea of helping other cats, rather than bloodying their fur." She scowled at the thought of bloodhsed. Sorrelkit galnced around, hearing voices out in the Clearing. She did want to explore, but she also wanted to stay in the shade of the nursery. The tri colored she-cat sighed and turned back to look at her brother.

Stormkit shrugged, ignoring her opinion. The gray tom busied himself witht he moss ball, so he could avoid anymore of the discussion, and he tottered around on his hind legs as he kicked it around. The foliage bundle flew out the nursery as a result from a hard swing, and the tom went after it.

Sorrelkit rolled her eyes and bounded out after her brother. She kind of needed to move her legs, this was getting boring without the movement. The tri colored she-cat stopped and saw the camp, admiring it. Then she bolted away to see what Stormkit was up to.
