Fireclan and Graveclan's Border

These two quarrel sometimes over this border. Skirmishes break out occasionally.

The young handsome rouge appeared out of the shadows and stared around, the old worn collar around his neck falling to peices. it was once good leather but time had begun to corrode it as it had been passed down through his family for many years. the brown eyed savannah cat scented the air calmly.

Snakeheart appeared behind her, he remarked the border and paused. his eyes closed as he allowed his large ears to do the work of pin pointing the location of the prey that was all around.

His eyes snapped open and before she could say mouse he was off silently speeding after something, several moments later the blood scent of dead rabbit floated into the air and the tom reappeared with a rabbit in his jaws. he placed his catch down and said "nice catch heathercloud i always have trouble with finding voles!'. his eyes shone with admiration.

The small elegant sleek black fireclan cat appeared, her nose wrinkled at the disgusting scent of graveclan. her eyes glittered as she noticed snakeheart. he had done some terrible damage to Fireclan. she would not forgive him. she waited in the shadows hoping that he would step over the border so she could attack him.

He purred in return and buried his prey beside hers, he frowned, his ears swivleing he thought for a moment that he had heard another cat. he shrugged and trotted over to heatherclouds side. his paw right on the border by mistake. he couldnt help it. he gave a gentle purr and touched his nose to her earbefore he whisked away so she couldnt claw him.

Snakeheart laughed and playfully taunted "slow as a fireclan cat". his eyes glittered with mischeif as well as that ever present affectionate light that appeared whenever he looked at her. he gave a deep purr. and winked.

As the stupid savannah cats legs went over the border, Obsidianshard was on him. she leapt aiming to sink her claws and teeth into his back. her black pelt shone in the early morning light, her golden eyes ablaze with hatered.

Snakeheart swerved away at the last minute and turned with a snake like hiss coming out of his throat. with out a second thought he swung one of his bigger paws at her head. his brown eyes glittered.

she was startled as she slammed into the dust, as she looked up she saw to late his paw swinging through the air. as she got knocked into fireclan territory she lay there stunned before she turned and ran off blood flowing from her ears.

Yukistar watched that and glared coldly at Snakeheart. Unsheathing her claws, she jumped up gave him a swipe on his face, her swinging paw hit Heathercloud's face as well. "Slow as a FireClan cat, eh?"she said. Yukistar then turned around and started to followed the scarlet drops of blood into the forest.

Yukistars attack missed pathetically and Snakeheart said to eaglestar "Fireclan has become more bold, Obsidianshard attacked me when i was speaking with heathercloud, i may have gone a single pawstep over the border by mistake but that was no need for a full out attack". his brown eyes were unruffled though he stiffened when he noticed that she had gone for Heathercloud. he said coldly "i believe that fireclan needs a good lesson"

In a whirl Snakeheart was in front of heathercloud protecting her from the fireclan cat. he bared his teeth in asnarl and hissed "no thanks to obsidianshard, a pox on her and her family!". his brown eyes glittered with loathing, "yukistar attacked heathercloud". he hissed furiously like a snake.

Snakeheart nodded dipping his head in a slight apology to graypaw. he then turned and murmured to heathercloud "im sorry, i should have been there to stop the blow". his brown eyes stared into hers with a look of guilt. he then gently nudged her toward camp
"come on kitten". he murmured
